Repository for shogi pieces and boards I made or modified.

Click on the pictures to see them in high resolution.

The filenames are for pychess.org by default, but you can use them with XBoard or other programs by renaming the files. I made a shell script for this, see shogitool.sh in this repository. Copy shogitool.sh into the directory of a piece set (eg. kanji_red_wood) and run ./shogitool.sh --help for more information. For example, you can rename the files to the XBoard naming format by ./shogitool.sh p2x

	Doubutsu piece set and board I recreated all of the original Doubutsu pieces in Inkscape SVG format. Credits: the original Doubutsu pieces were created by Madoka Kitao. This piece set is available on pychess.org
	International piece set A modified version of CouchTomato87's and Hidetchi's pieces. I modified the rook, the bishop, the lance, and made new king and jeweled pieces.
	Kanji light piece set Simple, light colored kanji pieces
	Kanji brown piece set Simple, brown colored kanji pieces
	Military piece set An unconventional piece set. When a piece got promoted it gets a red rank above its picture, except the tank (rook) which becomes a drone tank, and the aircraft (bishop) which becomes a drone. Screenshot with promoted pieces
